Therapy

Couples Therapy

  • Do you and your partner have the same fights over and over?

  • Do those fights go the same way every time? Like a cycle or pattern?

  • Does one of you get louder while the other one eventually stops talking or even walks away?

  • Do the same things get brought up with each fight?

  • Are you left feeling dejected, sad, and alone?

  • Do you wish your partner just understood your pain and yet every time you try to talk, all you feel is anger?

  • Has there been an affair or painful relational experience that has broken trust between the two of you?

  • Have your grown apart and find it difficult to relate to each other?

  • Does your partner act in ways that you simply do not understand?

If you answered "Yes" to any of these questions or even a few of them, couples therapy may be right for you and your partner.

I am passionate and focused on providing couples therapy which addresses the issues above. Instead of teaching you and your partner skills, I specialize in understanding, organizing, and facilitating new experiences through sharing and validation. Participating in this type of therapy has the capacity to create lasting change instead of temporary relief. If you want long-term transformation, this is the type of therapy for you.

Counseling Fees and Information

50 Minute Couples Therapy Session - $150, First Session - $225

I accept both private pay (out of pocket) and insurance options. Clients who choose private pay elect to not involve insurance companies in their relationship care. Your relationship counseling will not be limited by a diagnosis, treatment plan or session limits that health insurance companies dictate. If this is important to you, let me know.

I do accept many insurance providers. Generally the question is if your provider will cover couples therapy. I suggest contacting your provider and asking if there is any coverage for "Family Psychotherapy". You may have a co-pay which will reduce the cost to you significantly. If cost is a concern of yours, let me know.

Fees are due in full at the end of each session. Debit/credit cards are accepted.

Cancellation Policy: If you need to postpone or cancel an appointment, please let me know 24 hours in advance. I reserve the right to charge for no-shows or cancellations with less than 24-hour notice.
